Vlad Marsic received the BEng degree in communication from Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications, “Gh. Asachi” University, Romania, in 2002, the MSc degree in low power RF sensing from School of Applied Sciences (SAS), Cranfield University, UK, in 2012, and finished his EngD work in RF communication and location services at Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG), University of Warwick, UK in 2019.
From 2003 to 2011 he performed various roles in industry such as automotive electronic diagnosis engineer, 3G RAN engineer, IT support, whereas from 2012 to 2022 he joined the academia environment as KTP RF engineer for Oxford Brookes University UK, system engineer at WMG UK and research fellow at Cranfield and Coventry Universities UK. His research interest includes the experimental RF areas of remote sensing, wireless networks, radio location, power line communication (PLC) and theoretical electromagnetic simulation and analysis techniques supported and developed through MATLAB, C/C++, Spice, NI LabVIEW, etc.
Vlad Marsic was nominated and received the Best Paper Award in various conferences and symposiums where he presented and authored original research work in the RF experimental and modelling domains.
