Personal profile

Biography

I am a Professor in Engineering Dynamics, Head of School of Engineering at Coventry University International branch in Egypt - The Knowledge Hub (https://tkh.edu.eg/). My expertise lies in Engineering Dynamics, essentially at the intersection of dynamics, modeling and optimisation, signal processing, sensor fusion, and artificial intelligence. I have successfully completed more than 25 funded research projects and authored more than 100 publications in scientific journals and conferences. I have contributed significantly in the accreditation of three Bsc and MSc Programmes and was the course director of the JLR-TAS CPD programme at Coventry University. I was the Academic director of the Centre for Connected and Autonomous Automotive Research and member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Vehicle Systems Modeling and Testing.

Smart systems, Dynamics, Signal Processing, Optimisation, Soft Computing

Vision Statement

My motivation is to develop methods that combine models and Artificial Intelligence methods for the analysis and development of Smart and Resilient Systems, as well as transforming Big Data to Smart Data using signal processing techniques.
