    Biography

    Siona is currently a lecturer in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship at the International Centre for Transformational Entrepreneurship (ICTE), Coventry University. Within this role, she undertakes both teaching and research activities. Having been engaged in academia for over 5years, she has gained considerable teaching experience within the HE sector, delivering a range of Undergraduate and Post-graduate courses across different Business and Management programmes.

    As an early career researcher, she has authored journal articles spanning a cross section of Law and Management areas such as discrimination within the context of employment and entrepreneurial activities, forced labour, child labour, and the effects of culture on business and management practices in developed and developing economies. She has presented her research at major academic conferences including the Oxford University International Scientific Forum, Harvard Medical School Academic Forum and International Law in Context. In addition, she periodically reviews articles for the Community Solutions Programme (CSP) and International Humanities Studies Journal.

    Siona is a member of several learned societies including the British Academy of Management and she is an Academic Assessor for the prestigious Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) Chevening scholarship programme.

    Research Interests

    Siona's scholarly interests range widely, encompassing the implementation of Legal and Management systems for sustainable growth within the context of employment and entrepreneurship, international development, the impact of culture on work and entrepreneurial competencies, small business management, African businesses and entrepreneurship, and the role of labour and employment systems within the framework of effective business and management practices.
