    Simon Igo is a Principle Lecturer in the School for Nursing, Midwifery and Health at Coventry University. He specialises in teaching evidence based practice using principles grounded in problem based learning. His teaching approach enables learners to use a pragmatic and sensible application of “best evidence” to inform clinical decision making. Simon’s doctoral research investigated the essential structure of EBP using phenomenology; he explored the conscious experience of practising EBP from first person perspectives. He has presented research nationally and internationally relating to inter-professional online learning and evidence based practice.Simon has extensive research experience in course and curriculum design, research methodology, clinical research and has a strategic overview of teaching, learning and research in education.
