Biography
Accounting lecturer, associate director UG Accountancy & International mobility lead. Multidisciplinary research interests. Taught in seven universities, two FE colleges and many schools. Military medic, graduated from LSE, audited for Deloitte, studied Environmental Management and worked as a commercial analyst and foreign investment advisor. Geography doctorate from the University of Queensland. Three professional accountant designations (ACMA, GCMA & CPA). Certified teacher (PGCE, FHEA). Fluent French (DEFL B1). Interest in various other languages/cultures, including Ancient Greek. Published over twenty journal articles, seven book chapters and three books. Active peer reviewer, including for Property Management (Editorial Board), Land, Land Use Policy, Sustainability, Sustainable Cities & Society.
Research Interests
Multidisciplinary research on sustainable transformation, strategic error, performance management, urban development & learning.
