    Research Interests

    I am currently pursuing a PhD at Coventry University, focusing on Youth Engagements for Climate and Sustainability in Kenya and Uganda. Prior to my doctoral studies, I served as Head of Communications for GIZ (German Development Cooperation) Kenya and Somalia for four years, where I also led the Corporate Sustainability Unit and organized strategy workshops to define the organisation’s sustainability goals. I am also a member of the Kenya Climate Change Working Group and the Youth and Marginalised People thematic group, which collaborates with NGOs and local governments to enhance resilience among vulnerable populations. My research interests include youth political engagement, climate change, and environmental activism in the global south.
