    Research Interests

    I am currently pursuing a PhD at Coventry University, focusing on Youth Engagements for Climate and Sustainability in Kenya and Uganda. With a background in German Studies, Political Science, and International Relations, I bring a diverse academic perspective to my research. Before my doctoral studies, I served as Head of Communications for GIZ (German Development Cooperation) Kenya and Somalia for four years, where I also led the Corporate Sustainability Unit and organized strategy workshops to define the organization’s sustainability goals. I am a member of the Kenya Climate Change Working Group and the Youth and Marginalized People thematic group, collaborating with NGOs and local governments to enhance resilience among vulnerable populations. My research interests include youth political engagement, climate change, and environmental activism in the global south.
