    Biography

    Seong Ki Yoo joined Coventry University in October 2019 as Lecturer and he is currently working as Assistant Professor (Senior Lecturer at Coventry University) in the Centre for Future Transport and Cities (CFTC) at Coventry University. He began his research career with a junior researcher with Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute (KERI), Ansan, South Korea (2012-2013). He contributed to the development of signal processing algorithm for (radial) pulse diagnosis system in the project supported by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Republic of Korea (Grant No. 10028436). He was then employed a post-doctoral research fellow with Centre for Wireless Innovation (CWI), ECIT Institute, Queen’s University Belfast (2017-2019).  He worked on the project entitled ‘Enabling Cellular Networks to Exploit Millimetre-wave Opportunities (NEMOs)’ which included collaboration with Trinity College Dublin and Virginia Tech.

    He received the B.Eng. (Hons.) degree in Telecommunication Systems from the University of Surrey, Guildford, U.K., in 2010, and the M.Sc. degree in Communications and Signal Processing from Imperial College London, London, U.K., in 2012 and the Ph.D. degree from Queen's University Belfast, Belfast, U.K., in 2017. His Doctoral studies were sponsored by U.K. Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC). 

    He has served on the editorial board of scientific journals (e.g., Future Internet, Frontiers in Communications and Networks) and the technical program committee of international scientific conferences (e.g., EuCAP, CommNet). He has also been a regular reviewer for high impact international journals and conferences.
