    Biography

    Dr Selman Karagoz is a lecturer in Business Analytics & Digital Transformation at the School of Strategy and Leadership, Coventry University since September 2021. He obtained his BSc, MSc and PhD degrees from the Department of Industrial Engineering, Yildiz Technical University in 2020. Before joining Coventry University, he worked as a Teaching & Research Assistant in the Department of Industrial Engineering, Operations Research Research Group at Yildiz Technical University, Visiting Researcher in the Computational Optimisation and Learning (COL) Lab, School of Computer Science at the University of Nottingham and Part-Time Lecturer in Department of Economics, Nottingham Business School at Nottingham Trent University. Furthermore, he worked as a Lean Logistics Project Engineer (Part-Time) in B/S/H (Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte), Turkey.

    His main research interests are operations research, decision-making under uncertainty, multi-criteria and multi-objective decision-making, environmental supply chain optimization, machine learning and data analytics.
