Biography

Kojo Sarfo Gyamfi received the B.Sc. degree (First Class) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana, in 2013. He then served as a teaching and research assistant at the Department of Electrical/Electronic Engineering, KNUST, from August 2013 to August 2014. He received his PhD from Coventry University in 2018 after passing his viva voce exam without any corrections. His doctoral research was in machine learning for industrial applications, such as flowmeter diagnostics, and won him a nomination for postgraduate researcher of the year in 2018. He is currently a research fellow at Coventry University's Fluid and Complex Systems Research Centre.

Research Interests

His current research interests include exploring the use of machine learning techniques, such as dimensionality reduction, reinforcement learning, and function approximation neural networks, for industrial applications such as car-cabin comfort and wireless sensor network transmissions.

Fingerprint Fingerprint is based on mining the text of the person's scientific documents to create an index of weighted terms, which defines the key subjects of each individual researcher.
