    Biography

    A technically minded and detail-oriented research professional. PhD in tribology and surface engineering from the University of Leeds focusing on the nanomechanics of diamond-like carbon coating systems. Employs a multi-disciplinary approach to provide solutions and analysis to real engineering problems. Remaining active in research with frequent collaborations, publications and reviewing research articles.

    Able to learn and adapt quickly to new techniques and equipment. Good time and projects management shown by managing own project, collaborative academic work, Surface Ventures (not-for-profit) management and student supervision. Enjoys challenge and novel problems and adapting to new fields of study. 

    Currently working as a Research and Development Specialist at Pillarhouse International and as a Visiting Academic at Coventry University. Recently developed a patented longer life selective soldering nozzle.
