Soil and ground stabilization using soil-cement mixing technology

Looking into short and long term performance of initially weak ground enhanced in strength by soil mixing technology using various binders with applications to pavements, slopes, columns, waste containment liners and barriers etc.

 Collapsibility of partially saturated soils

Looking into metastability of partially saturated soils which suffer from excessive volume changes and strength loss upon collapse causing cracking to structures thus compromising their stability integrity. 

Hydraulic fracture mechanics of cohesive dam cores

Looking into fracture mechanism of cohesive dam cores induced by hydraulic pressure leading to excessive massive leaks.
