    Salem holds both academic and professional experience. Prior to his appointment at Coventry University (in 2016), he worked for four years at Durham University Business School and University of Lincoln. At Coventry Business School, Salem is delivering different modules for undergraduate and postgraduate levels as well as supervising dissertations for both levels. Salem currently supervises PhD students and working on different research projects in area of corporate governance. He also has four years professional experience as a Tax Officer at the Jordanian Tax Department (2007-2011). In terms of teaching qualification, he is a Senior Fellow in Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and holds PG Cert.
