Since completing the University of Bologna MBA in Green Energy & Sustainable Businesses in 2013, Ron spent the next decade working at the confluence of financial and digital inclusion with UN's World Food Programme, UN Capital Development Fund, Tetra Tech, Mercy Corps and other non-governmental organizations. During this period, he authored the Our Turn to Pollute (2020) book, and two shorter books; Perceptions and Pricing Power (2021), and More than Cash? Relief cash transfers as a springboard for recovery and long-term development (2023).

This more recent digital for development work builds off earlier experiences that started as Editorial Assistant at Pearson Education, followed with risk underwriting (UAP Old Mutual), and FMCG trade marketing (British American Tobacco) roles.
With a tenacity for solutions and passion to better the world, he's always working in various intersections, and cutting-edge challenges, recently attaining the International Labour Organization Participatory Gender Audit Assessment (ILO/PGA) certification, and the UK Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Diploma in Insurance which confers the designation- DipCII.

As part of a dual PhD program, Ron is working toward a Doctor of Science in Management degree at Bandung Institute of Technology (Indonesia), and a PhD in Sustainable Finance at Coventry University (UK).
