Rajib Goswami joined Coventry University in September 2021 as a Lecturer in Electronic and Electrical Engineering. Before joining Coventry University, he was a Research Associate at the University of Bristol in the Electrical Energy Management Group from 2019 to 2021 and worked in industry and EPSRC funded Power Electronics research projects. Rajib completed his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering in 2017 from the University of Texas at San Antonio, USA, where he successfully worked in industry funded research projects. He served as a Senior Electrical and Electronics Engineer at Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission during 2018-2019 and worked in the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant project. Rajib also worked in the Power Electronics and Electrical Power Research Laboratory of University of Florida, USA as a research intern and worked in a National Science Foundation funded research project there. His research interest includes Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) noise modelling and analysis for power converters, hybrid (active/passive) EMI filter design, advancement of active gate driving techniques for Gallium Nitride based power electronics, power converter design for renewable energy applications etc.
