Research Interests
I joined Conventry Unversity as Assistant Professor in Connected and Autonomous Vehicles in July 2020. Before joining Coventry University, I worked between 2016-2020 within the Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS) department of Jaguar Land Rover with extensive experience in leading industrial research projects to develop autonomous driving systems. The automated parking project led by me received an award of “2019 TATA Innovista European Regional Winner on Piloted Technologies Category”. I also published several patents on autonomous driving technologies and received the “2019 JLR Technical Excellence Reward on Patent.”
Before JLR, i worked as research fellow between 2012-2013 with University of Surrey and 2013-2015 with University of Sheffield. My research has focused on applied control system on electric vehicle torque vectoring and wind turbine blade control.
I received a PhD in control engineering from University of Machester in 2012. I have served as reviewer for a number of peer reviewed journals (including 2 IEEE Transaction, Proceeding of IEEE, Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems)
