Biography

I was awarded a PhD in Economics from Royal Holloway, University of London, in 2012. Since June 2012 I have been employed at Coventry University. I received an MSc in Economics from the Poznan University of Economics, Poland. My research interests are broadly in economics of armed conflict, economics of terrorism and security, political economy, and more recently branching into regional and urban economics.

Vision Statement

My research incorporates elements of economics and political science, for example, I have studied the sensitivity of public opinion to war-related costs and terrorism, perceptions of free trade, impacts of economic sanctions. My more recent projects also have branched out to urban economics, regional studies, sentiment analysis and citizen science.
