    Research Interests

    Oliver Curnick leads Coventry University's Hydrogen Energy research theme, which seeks to overcome the technical and economic challenges associated with hydrogen production, storage, distribution and end-use through the development of novel devices, processes, diagnostic techniques and control strategies.


    Based at the Centre for Advanced Low Carbon Propulsion Systems, Coventry's Hydrogen Energy Applications Laboratory hosts a range of facilities that support the group's industrial collaborative research and development projects.


    Oliver's research aims to reduce the cost and improve the performance and efficiency of hydrogen energy technologies, whilst supporting their scale-up to meet the needs of the sustainable energy transition.
