I received my BSc degree in Electrical Engineering from The Islamic University of Gaza, Gaza,
Palestine, in 2010 and my MSc degree in Advanced Control and
Systems engineering from The University of Manchester, Manchester, UK, in 2014. I was awarded a PhD from The University of Manchester, Manchester, UK, in 2020 for research on Robust consensus for networked systems with negative imaginary properties.
I worked as a research associate within the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences at Heriot-Watt University from Jan. 2021 to Feb. 2022. During this time, I was working on the smart assembly system work package part of the EPSRC research project: “A
Multiscale Digital Twin-Driven Smart Manufacturing System for High Value-Added Products”. I also worked as a teaching assistant both at the Islamic University of Gaza and at the University of Manchester while doing my PhD.
