Dr Obiora is a Lecturer in Law at Coventry Law School. He specialises in comparative law with particular focus on personal or movable property law across Civil and Common law systems.
Obiora completed his undergraduate at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nigeria and did both his LLM (in Corporate and Financial Law) and PhD at the University of Glasgow. Obiora previously taught Commercial law at the University of Glasgow and Glasgow Caledonian University.
Obiora is also licensed to practise as a Barrister and Solicitor in Nigeria, and had practised for almost 5 years with a commercial law firm in Lagos, Nigeria before studying for his LLM and PhD.
His research interests are in the areas of comparative law and property law (particularly personal or movable property).
