    Personal profile

I am an experienced and HCPC registered musculoskeletal physiotherapist with an interest in developing my academic and research skills.

I qualified as physiotherapist in 2005 in Germany and graduated from the University of Brighton with an MSc in Physiotherapy and Education in 2016, which also led to recognition as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

I have worked within various musculoskeletal and sports settings before being successful in gaining a Research Fellow and worked on an impact project involving development and evaluation of educational resources for intensive care trainees. I was also a Researcher and Data Entry Manager at a Clinical Trials Unit, working on two large multi-centre randomised controlled trials. More recentely, I was involved in a project at the Centre of Intelligent Healthcare, which develops a fit-for-purpose electronic observation application that provides an essential support system to reduce deterioration of patients and inform the rapid response processes.

I am now working as an Assistant Sports Therapy Lecturer and involved in facilitating students' clinical as well as research skills.
