Biography
I am an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Academic Writing at Coventry University, ASPiRE Fellow at the Centre for Arts, Memory and Communities, and I am Managing Editor of the Journal of Academic Writing. Before working at Coventry, I worked as a Senior Research Manager at Cambridge University Press, as a Lecteur at the University of Angers, France, and as a Associate Lecturer at the University of Limerick, Ireland.
Vision Statement
I am interested in research spanning linguistics, academic discourse and pedagogy. I have specialised in corpus and contrastive linguistics and language pedagogy and am interested in pursuing these fields while studying academic language.
