    Nutritional ergogenic aids; Carbohydrate supplementation; Hydration and rehydration; Physiology of soccer and intermittent sports; Pre-cooling; Thermoregulation.  

    Biography

    I have always had an interest in applied sport science have been able to perform physiological testing in both the laboratory and the field. I have worked with elite athletes including professional football and rugby players, distance runners, triathletes and international Taekwondo athletes as well as regularly working with younger athletes from youth academies, centres of excellence and scholarship schemes. Furthermore, I have provided scientific support to a number commercial companies involved in areas such as the production of survival suits and protective garments for the Armed Forces, sportswear manufacturers and sports drinks producers
