    Biography

    Nathaniel is an Assistant Professor (Teaching) in Social Work. He is a registered social worker with Social Work England. As a qualified social worker, Nathaniel has worked in various settings, including within assessment and duty, and in the fostering sector. Nathaniel also has a background in safeguarding and supporting children in care within education. 

    Nathaniel is the Course Director for the Social Work Apprenticeship Degree. Nathaniel teaches on the Social Work courses. Nathaniel has a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice in Higher Education (PgCAPHE) and has Senior Fellowship accreditation with Advance HE.

    PhD Project

    Nathaniel is completing a PhD exploring the narratives of men in child protection social work.
