    Nancy Annan is a PhD candidate at the Centre for Trust Peace and Social Relations (CTPSR), Coventry University focusing on the contributions of Local Infrastructures for peace in post-conflict societies. At the CTPSR, she has worked as a Research Assistant for one of their flagship EU funded where she assisted, among other tasks, research, report writing and organisation of workshops. Additionally, she is also the PhD Student Worker assisting with the CTPSR REF 2020 Assessment process.Previously, Ms Annan worked as a Research Associate in the Peace Support Operations Program in West Africa’s leading Centre for peacekeeping and peacebuilding training and research, the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre. During that time, she played an active role in research, training, policy dialogues and publications, including managing a joint 2-year research project with the University of Queensland, Australia on “Understanding and Working with Local Sources of Peace, Security and Justice in West Africa”. Ms Annan was selected as one of the promising future women leaders for the US International Leadership Programme on “Women Leaders Promoting Peace and Security” in Washington DC.
