Miriam has published on film theories, experimental film, artists’ cinema, screen media arts, and visual media and space/place. Whilst interested in developing her work in these research areas further, she is most recently focussing on digital and postdigital media, as well as on the relationship between artists’ film, film philosophy and the gallery space. She is currently researching gestures in film and video, and writing on experimental cinema.
Miriam has lead on Concrete Cinema, a joint research project with Warwick University devoted to the interrelations between urban space, architectural heritage and film.
She welcomes collaborative and doctoral projects on all the topics mentioned above.
