Personal profile

Research Interests

Miriam has published on film theories, experimental film, artists’ cinema, screen media arts, and visual media and space/place. Whilst interested in developing her work in these research areas further, she is most recently focussing on digital and postdigital media, as well as on the relationship between artists’ film, film philosophy and the gallery space. She is currently writing on gestures in film and video, and on experimental cinema.

Welcoming collaborative projects, Miriam is also leading on a joint research project with Warwick University devoted to the interrelations between urban space, architectural heritage and film.
