I am a Senior Lecturer in Finance at School of Economics, Finance and Accounting. I obtained my PhD in corporate governance from the University of East Anglia; I also hold an MA from Bradford University. My research interests focus on corporate governance mechanisms and their impact on firm performance, corporate governance code compliance and corporate social responsibility. I am the module leader for International Finance. I supervise undergraduate projects and postgraduate dissertations. I’m an academic personal tutor for undergraduate students.

Research:

My research interests are corporate governance and corporate social responsibility, with an interest in the consequences of various corporate governance arrangements, such as board and ownership structure, and board remuneration and ownership.
