    Personal profile

    Biography

I am a Registered Dietitian with the HCPC and a Registered Sport and Exercise Nutritionist with SENr as a graduate registrant.

I graduated from Coventry University with a degree in BSc Dietetics (Hons). Since qualifying I have gone on to complete an MSc in Sports and Exercise Nutrition (Merit) also with Coventry University.

My aim is to foster positive relationships with food and create sustainable behaviour change for the promotion of better health.

I believe a healthy lifestyle is a way of life and that all foods are eaten in moderation as part of a healthy balanced diet.

I have experience working in the delivery of a weight management programme across Warwickshire as well as clinical experience within the NHS in both the acute and community setting. As part of my MSc programme I had the opportunity to work with a championship football team as their sports nutritionist.

In my current role as an Assistant Lecturer I am involved in the training and education of both undergraduate and postgraduate dietetic students as well as public health nutrition students.
