Biography

I received my BEng (2006) degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Jordan. I worked at ThyssenKrupp from 2006-2009 as a Mechanical Design Engineer. I got my MSc degree (2010) in Industrial Engineering Management from University of Jordan. I then studied for a PhD at University of Birmingham, with a thesis topic ‘the development and characterization of Ni-Cu/Al2O3 catalyst for hydrogen production via multi-fuel reforming’, under supervision of Professor Joe Wood and Dr Waldemar Bujalski, which was awarded in 2014. During 2013 to 2016, I have been working as Research Fellow at the University of Nottingham focusing on hydrogen energy systems and energy storage with Professor Gavin Walker.

In 2016 I Joined Coventry University as a Lecturer in Automotive Electrical Systems in the School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Automotive Engineering. My research focuses on the application of hydrogen energy technology and fuel cell systems.
