Dr. Khan is working at Coventry University as an Assistant Professor in Finance. He has completed his doctoral thesis at the University of Newcastle, Australia. Before doing his PhD, he achieved his MSc in Finance & Investment degree at distinction level from the University of Leeds, UK. He also completed his MBA and BBA (Hons) in Finance from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is a Fellow of UK Higher Education Academy. He holds Fundamentals in University Teaching Certificate and Professional Certificate in University Assessment from the University of Newcastle, Australia. He has more than 14 years of teaching experience at undergraduate and masters level, where he taught various finance courses. Prior to this appointment, he worked as Sessional Lecturer and Course Coordinator at the University of Newcastle in Australia. Previously, he held positions like Assistant Professor, Senior Lecturer and Lecturer at several educational institutions in Bangladesh. Apart from teaching, he has working experience in research projects at United Nations Development Program (UNDP). He has got his several research papers published in peer reviewed journals. He is skilled in STATA, SAS, Gretl, SPSS, and Python.
