My doctoral thesis investigated the psychological impact of cyberbullying on the health and well-being of young people through the perceptions of four stakeholders groups. I continue to research in the area of cyberpsychology. My research interests include cyberbullying and other forms of bullying, stress and coping, as well as the mental health needs of young people & adults, perinatal mental health and carers’ experiences. I am interested in the growing influence of technology and the blurring of boundaries between work and non-working life. My other research interests are in health psychology, recovery, adjustment and “survivorship” following a diagnosis of cancer.
