As a seasoned marketing and communications expert with a diverse background spanning in-house roles and top-tier agencies, I've transitioned into academia as an Assistant Professor in Digital Marketing at Coventry University. My current focus as an ASPiRE Research Fellow within the Centre for Business in Society revolves around democratising capitalism at the intersection of entrepreneurial finance and entrepreneurial marketing in the digital economy.
I bring a wealth of professional affiliations, including membership in the Chartered Institute of Marketing (MCIM) and as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). My career highlights include heading the press office function during a pivotal $1 billion acquisition and advising Fortune 500 companies on optimizing their marketing strategies.
I hold a PhD in Entrepreneurship, two full-time MBAs (Durham University and LUISS University), and a first-class in Communication (Sapienza) alongside executive education from SDA Bocconi, LSE, and the University of Cambridge, specializing in digital marketing, regulatory frameworks, and negotiation strategies.
As a former start-upper, I have been helping startups with their strategic marketing and contributing to international media outlets by covering the intersection of impact, innovation, and society.
My primary research interest centres around democratising capitalism and lies at the intersection of entrepreneurial finance and entrepreneurial marketing in the digital economy.
