Dr Kevin Stone, DSocSci, MSc, LLB (Hons), BSc (Hons), DipSW, SFHEA, FRSA

Dr Kevin Stone is Assistant Professor for Social Work at Coventry University, and a sitting Magistrate within the south west.

He has been a social work lecturer for the past law, teaching health and social care law, social work skills and social sciences for the past eight years. Dr Stone is an active researcher in the field of mental health law and health and social care practice and as an author has published widely.

Dr Stone is a student centered and a practice-facing academic holding a Senior Fellowship with the HEA. He is able to relate and apply the law to real life scenarios as he draws on his experience of over 20 years of experience working in the voluntary and statutory health and social care sector.
