Personal profile


I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Marketing and Management at Coventry University. My teaching responsibilities cover a range of UG and PG modules relating to business and event management. I have previous experience of curriculum design developing new courses as well as experience of reviewing quality assurance processes at other Higher Education Institutions in my role as an External Examiner. I am a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and an ad-hoc reviewer for The International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, Tourism Planning and Development, the Journal of Hospitality, Leisure, Sport and Tourism Education and the Journal of Hospitality Management.


My doctoral research is in the area of customer disengagement with the aim to develop a model of customer disengagement recovery. I am under the Director of Studies, Dr. Husni Kharouf.

PhD Project

I am currently part way through a PhD. The aim of the research is to establish the determinant triggers that lead to customer disengagement from service providers.
