What we understand by professional identity as professional habitus and how this is internally and externally constructed; How knowledge of changes to professional identity can influence pedagogical approaches to supporting the development of students’ professional identities; Identifying and understanding any shift in the professional identity of occupational therapy lecturers, occupational therapist and occupational therapy students due to changes in working practices of health and social care professionals.
