Biography
Jessica holds a PhD from Coventry University in guanxi studies and entrepreneurship, and she is now a Lecturer in Business Management at Coventry University. She has been working as a part-time staff in School of Strategy & Leadership for five years since she started her PhD. Her research studies the relationship between Chinese entrepreneurs’ characteristics and their guanxi networking in the UK, as well as how does these guanxi influence the companies’ performances. She is now a Fellow member of the Higher Education Academy and an Associate Researcher in the International Centre for Transformational Entrepreneurship (ICTE). Her research interests include Chinese guanxi in international context, entrepreneurial characteristics, entrepreneurial orientation, and ethnic minority entrepreneurship in the UK.
