Artificial Intelligence and Law, Citizenship by Investment and Migration Law, Financial Crime and Corporate Compliance, Law and Technology in Small Island Developing States
Dr. Jeiel D. Joseph is an Assistant Professor in Law at Coventry University’s Centre for Financial and Corporate Integrity. He holds a Ph.D. in Law from Coventry University and both LLB and LLM degrees from Kingston University, London. His interdisciplinary research explores the intersection of law, technology, and financial integrity, with a particular focus on the regulation of artificial intelligence, citizenship by investment programs, and corporate compliance. Dr. Joseph is a Co-Investigator on two major EU-funded projects: KEYSTONE, which addresses financial investigation skills, and TRACE, which targets illicit financial flows using AI-driven methods. With a background that spans academic teaching, legal compliance, and corporate intelligence, his work emphasizes the practical application of legal principles in digitally evolving landscapes. He has published on AI in due diligence and legal ethics, and is committed to advancing accessible, high-quality legal education through digital innovation.
