    Personal profile

    Research Interests

My research interests are focused around environmental hydraulics and pollution transport in environmental flows. My PhD (University of Warwick, 2013) investigated pollution transport in pipe flow. After this I did a three year post-doc looking at pollution transport in vegetated stormwater drainage systems. My current work is mainly focused around stormwater management in low-income countries and the hydraulics and pollution transport implications of natural porous dams (Beaver dams, leaky barriers etc).

My main teaching interests are related to water engineering and hydraulics, although I also teach highways at year 1.
