I am a lecturer in Finance and had previously served as a research and development consultant at industry level. My research interests include finance academia and socio-economic development in Africa. In the former, my interests are: financial contagion, financial market analysis and behavioural finance. In the latter, they include: education, women empowerment and poverty alleviation. Coming from North East Nigeria, I stay in touch with happenings at home, this has shaped my research interest on socio-economic development.
I am a Fellow of Higher Education Academy, UK and Associate Member (ACSI) of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI). Iam also an advocate of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
