Vision Statement
As a Professor in the Centre for Global Education I am working on several themes, my focus is on digital culture and also on assisting people with disabilities through new technology.
My particular research interests lie in innovative digital media, digital/physical flexible exhibitions, creative archiving and international heritage; but also in technology-enabled access to information for marginalised groups. Having created augmented and virtual reality platforms and digital games for prestigeous organisations such as the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust and Robben Island Museum and having run my own media company for ten years I am fascinated by the creative economy and will be examining new models of business for creative entrepreneurs and educators.
