Jackie Shanley is Course Director for MSc Advancing Physiotherapy Practice and contributes to teaching and development of a number of postgraduate modules and courses. She has a particular interest in supporting the transition of international students to postgraduate study and has published in this area. Her area of clinical expertise is neurological physiotherapy and she contributes to teaching of neurological physiotherapy and related theoretical issues (motor control, skill acquisition, learning, neuro-anatomy and physiology) at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
