    Personal profile

    Research Interests

My research to date has been largely centred on analytical and environmental chemistry and can be divided into two main areas:

    (a) development and applications of high resolution mass spectrometry and hyphenated tools for molecular analysis

    (b) identification of sources, abundances, and fate of environmental pollutants

These two areas are linked by a global challenge to better understand chemical processes occurring in the hydrosphere and atmosphere and their impact on environment, climate and health.

I am interested in pollution transfer, especially of New and Emerging Pollutants (NEPs), in diverse environmental media under changing climate and land use scenarios and development of novel analytical platforms and methods for their detection and monitoring.
