    Biography

    Ibrahim Alkhataybeh is a Lecturer in Accounting at Coventry Business School, Coventry University. Ibrahim holds a BSc in Accounting with a minor in Financial and Banking Science from Yarmouk University, Jordan, an MSc in Accounting and Financial Management from Keele University, UK, and a PhD in Accounting and Corporate Social Responsibility from the University of Sheffield, UK. He also holds a fellowship with the UK Advance Higher Education Academy.

    Before Joining Coventry, Ibrahim worked at different universities including Sheffield University Management School, Buckinghamshire New University, and the Global Banking School. He led and taught diverse accounting modules to students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, in addition to supervising dissertations for undergraduate and Master's candidates.

    Ibrahim's research focuses on corporate governance, sustainability accounting, and accountability, with a current emphasis on sustainability assurance practices. Alongside his teaching experience at UK universities, he has substantial research experience, including engagement in World Bank consultancy projects focused on SOE governance reforms in the Middle East. Furthermore, he collaborated as a researcher within Sheffield University's Economics Department, contributing to the assessment of local businesses' economic well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic.
