I'm a PhD candidate with Centre for Dance Research at Coventry University, investigating the archive of The Tavistock Institute of Human Relations. I work with creative practice methods, movement and performance to explore what new insights about work and care can be mined from this archive.

Im a performance-maker, artist, researcher and teacher.

I co-founded a performance/research collective, Dog Kennel Hill Project, (DKHP) in 2004. DKHP was formed with Rachel Lopez de la Nieta and Ben Ash, as a laboratory for making that collaborates with artists, designers, musicians and objects/ spaces and has productions spanning theatre dance pieces, video works, site-specific productions in outdoor or unusual spaces, gallery exhibitions and installations. Commissions for specific contexts include Brighton CCA 2019, Modern Art Oxford 2015, Teddington Library 2014, Neurolive commission, 2023.

Between 2018 -2023 I was co-director of Independent Dance, (ID) an artist-led organisation that receives Arts Council National Portfolio funding to support the development of dance through an international programme of classes, workshops, projects, and festivals. 
My current role with Independent Dance is as Lead Tutor for the MA Creative Practice: Dance Professional - a partnership between ID, Trinity Laban Conservatoire and Siobhan Davies Studios. I lead on design and delivery of two modules, Embodied Practice and Investigative practice.

Alongside DKHP, Ive worked as a contemporary dancer, notably with Rosemary Lee, Ricochet Dance, Yolande Snaith and Russel Maliphant; and as dance teacher in conservatoires such as Trinity Laban and London Contemporary Dance School, as well as choreographing for independent projects and collaborating as movement director with visual artists, Daria Martin, US/UK, Matti Braun, Germany and Polonça Lovsin, Slovenia.
