Dr Hassan Amar is a Lecturer and Course Director in the School of Strategy and Leadership (SSL) at Coventry Unviersity. Hassan completed his Doctrate and Masters in the field of Project Management from Unviersity of Bedfordhshire, United Kingdom. Over the past years, Hassan has been involved extensively in the Teaching and Learning activities at UK HEIs. Hassan has earned the qualification of Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Hassan is also an approved External Examiner of AdvanceHE.

Hassan is an individual with a robust industrial experience where he has worked in an Electronic Manufacturing Industry. His main responsibilities included managing and supervising PCBs production based on Surface Mount and Through-hole Technology. His core competencies include:

  • Teamwork, Motivational and Leadership Skills
  • Risk Management and Compliance
  • Project Planning, Monitoring & Control 
  • Process and Production Engineering (Electronic Manufacturing)

Currently, Hassan is leading an International Study Programme at Coventry University which has contributed alot to his learning abilities and portfolio. His most recent responsibilities include course directorship, leading modules, supervision of research projects/dissertations at both undergraduate and postgraduate level and providing consultancy in the subjects of business and management. As a researcher, Hassan has also attended and presented some intellectual papers at various conferences such as Management International Conference (MIC), British Academy of Management (BAM) and EUROMA, received a great round of appreciation. He has also published articles in well-reputed journals which strengthened his research skills and capabilities. Hassan aims to become a valuable part of Coventry University and have a great eager to make remarkable advancements in the field of both academia and research.
