Personal profile

Biography

I received my B.Sc. in Software Engineering from Xiamen University of Technology in 2020. After graduation, I worked as a research assistant at the same university, focusing on medical image analysis. In 2022, I continued my research journey at the Southern University of Science and Technology, where I worked on eye-brain coordination projects. In 2024, I completed my M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence and Human Factors with distinction at Coventry University. In January 2025, I began my joint PhD program co-supervised by Coventry University and Deakin University. I am conducting my research under the joint supervision of Dr. Fei He and Prof. Matthew England at Coventry University, and Prof. Tim Silk and Prof. Karen Caeyenberghs at Deakin University.

Research Interests

My current PhD research focuses on developing cost-effective and accurate diagnostic and monitoring techniques for ADHD using electroencephalography (EEG). The work integrates signal processing, graph neural networks, and machine learning, with a strong emphasis on model interpretability, particularly through the exploration of hypergraph-based approaches and functional connectivity. In addition, I have previously conducted research in computer vision and medical image analysis, including topics such as tissue and cell segmentation, eye-brain coordination, and spatiotemporal representation learning of proteomics data.
