Hafiz Ahmed was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He obtained B.Sc. degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2011. In 2013, he obtained Master's degree in System, Control & Information Technology from Grenoble Alps University, Grenoble, France. In 2016, he obtained PhD degree in Automatic Control from Lille University of Science & Technology. He worked at Non-A team of Inria Lille - Nord Europe during his PhD studies. He obtained Best Ph.D. Thesis Award from the Research Cluster on Modelling, Analysis and Management of Dynamic Systems (GDR-MACS) of the National Council of Scientific Research (CNRS) in France, 2017. Following his PhD studies, he joined Clemson University, South Carolina, USA as a postdoctoral researcher. After that he worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at North South University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Since September 2017, he is working as a Lecturer in Coventry University, United Kingdom. He is interested in modeling, identification and control of uncertain nonlinear systems with applications in environmental monitoring and renewable energy. He is the author/co-author of 18 research articles including 8 journal articles, 9 conference articles and 1 book chapter.
