Biography
Guessan Alain Benie Bi is a PhD researcher in Global Education at Coventry University and a Geography teacher based in the United Kingdom. His academic work focuses on education policy, curriculum reform, and global education agendas, with particular attention to Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG4) and education systems in Francophone Africa, notably Côte d’Ivoire.
Alongside his research, he has been teaching Geography since 2020, combining classroom practice with critical inquiry into issues of equity, access, and educational risk.
He is also an author whose writings bridge education and social reflection. His books, including Comparative Studies of Education Systems: Ghana, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso and Nigeria, explore the complexity of education development in developing countries.
Through his scholarship, Benie Bi seeks to illuminate how education, discourse, and policy shape identities, opportunities, and futures in global contexts.
