Biography

Gueorgui Kolev joined EFA in September 2019 as an Associate Professor in Economics. He is an Associate Editor of the refereed journal the Economics Bulletin. Gueorgui obtained his PhD in Economics, Finance and Management from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, in 2009.  Prior to this appointment, Gueorgui held the positions of a Senior Lecturer in Behavioural Economics at Middlesex University London, Assistant Professor in Finance at EDHEC Business School, Lille/Nice, France, and LSE Teaching Fellow in Finance at London School of Economics.  His research interests are in the fields of Corporate Finance and Governance, Executive Compensation, Behavioural Finance, Behavioural Decision Making, Empirical Asset Pricing, Empirical Macro Finance, Econometrics, Forecasting, and Policy Evaluation. Gueorgui has published his research in the refereed journals Journal of Banking & Finance, European Journal of Finance, Journal of Behavioral Decision Making, Economics Letters, Kyklos, Interfaces, Economics Bulletin and Journal of Behavioral Finance.
