Biography

I have been working at Coventry University since 2014. I graduated from the Alexander Technological Educational Institute (ATEITH) of Thessaloniki, Greece in 2010 where I worked as a clinician before moving to the UK.

I worked in the private sector and sports field and specialised in the management of musculoskeletal conditions and occupational health. I also undertook an MSc at Sheffield Hallam University in Applying Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2012.

I joined the academic team at Coventry University teaching both at the undergraduate and postgraduate programme. I have completed my postgraduate studies in Teaching in Higher education in 2015 and awarded in 2018 with Senior fellowship. I am currently conducting research on my Mixed Methods Research PhD project with a focus on the management of chronic musculoskeletal disorders at the workplace in relation to the ageing workforce.

My areas of interest are occupational health, musculoskeletal disorders, education, digital health, public health and wellbeing. I am also member of the ACPOHE comittee in Occupational Health and ergonomics.
