Personal profile



I am a Senior lecturer in the department of Physiotherapy at Coventry University. I have graduated from ATEITH in Thessaloniki, Greece where i worked as a clinician before moving to the UK. Then, I worked both in the NHS and sports field followed by ongoing work in private practice specialising in the management of musculoskeletal conditions and occupational health. I also undertook an MSc at Sheffield Hallam University in Applying Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2012. Since 2014 I joined the academic team at Coventry University teaching both at the undergraduate and postgraduate programme. I have completed my postgraduate studies in Teaching in Higher education in 2015 and progressed since 2018 with Senior fellowship. I am currently conducting research on my Mixed Methods Research PhD project with a focus on the management of chronic musculoskeletal disorders at the workplace in relation to the ageing workforce. My areas of interest are occupational health, musculoskeletal disorders, sports rehabilitation, education, digital health and public health/prevention and wellbeing. I am also member of the WCPT comittee subgroup on Occupational Health and ergonomics.
